Mark L. Kurtz, CEO

Mark directs the strategic path of the company and leads the executive management team’s vision and planning. He developed many of the key concepts and policies that are the basis for the company’s unique approach to multifamily investment and management.

He is formerly the Regional Partner for Greystar Real Estate Partners in Houston, Texas, and as such, was responsible for all aspects of the company’s multifamily activities for Greystar’s largest office.Mark’s portfolio of apartment communities exceeded 60 properties spread across seven states and included all product types from high-rise luxury towers to affordable housing communities. In addition to directing the investment, management, and sale of hundreds of millions of dollars of multifamily and commercial properties, he has developed over $150 million in new apartment communities in several states.

He is also a former partner with Highridge Partners, a California-based investment group, where he directed the Houston office in the acquisition of over 5,000 apartment units and over one million square feet of commercial properties. Mark’s real estate career began in 1982 with Harry Reed and Company, one of the multifamily industry’s patriarchs in Houston.

Mark graduated from the University of Houston, with a BBA in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas.
